How I shoot your day

Three formats, one wedding day.

Digital keeps it complete. Film and Super 8 keep it honest. Camcorder keeps it real. Here's what each one brings to your day, and what happens when they're brought together.

Format I

Digital coverage.

Digital is the backbone of your coverage: filmed on the newest iPhone, following you from the first quiet moments of getting ready through the last dance.

It never misses a beat, sound included, so nothing important slips past. Your reels and highlights are ready to watch, and repost, within days.

  1. Full-day coverage
  2. Includes audio
  3. Crisp, true to life
  4. Delivered in 24 to 72 hours

Format II

Super 8 film.

Shot on real Super 8 film and developed in a lab, not recreated with a filter, this format carries a warmth and grain digital can't fake.

It catches moments in short, imperfect bursts instead of long takes, closer to how a memory actually replays than a tidy highlight reel.

  1. No audio
  2. Soft, grainy film texture
  3. Shot in short, intimate bursts
  4. Developed and scanned by hand

Format III

Camcorder tape.

A handheld camcorder, the same kind that filmed your parents' wedding, gives your day a lo-fi, home-movie feeling no other format has.

It's a little shaky and a little grainy on purpose, filmed the way a guest with a camcorder actually would, so it feels like something pulled out of a box twenty years from now.

  1. No audio
  2. Lo-fi, home-movie warmth
  3. Handheld and unposed
  4. A deliberate throwback

Digital

Each format does what the others can't. Together, they cover every angle of the same moment.

Digital makes the day complete. Film and tape make it a memory.

No single format tells the whole story on its own, so every wedding is shot on all of them, and you keep every clip.
